July 31, 2003 - Edinburg Edition of "Daily Record" published today the small article about Shirley Manson in a Gossip Section as follows: "Shirley Manson has been very quiet recently - but there appears to be very good reason. The 36-year-old Garbage singer underwent an operaion on her right vocal chord after doctors warned her she risked damaging her health without any op. Manson, looking healthy and in a good form, was spotted with her parents who had flown over from their Edinburgh home outside Cafe Momo in Madison, Wisconsin, where Garbage are recording their new album. A fan spoke ti her said: "She told me she had an operation on the right vocal chord. She's all better now." No-one from Manson's family, band no her record company Universal Records has confirmed the operation took place. Source

June 26, 2003 - At the interview to Rolling Stone Butch announced 2 tracks from the new album: "Hangin' with the Bitches" � "Right Between the eyes". The last track "is more of a full-on rock song" and band is "pretty chuffed with" it.

Also the latest Ms. Manson's social life is very dynamic. She visits a lot of different parties and social events accompanied by her old friend and admirer Joe Levy, (one of the Rolling Stone editors). It's rumored their relations are not only question of bussiness...
